Rug finished

I am finally finished hooking this horse rug. It appears much brighter than it really is.
It's a rug I started years ago and then put it away. I was never really happy with the colors.
I think the blue was not the blue I wanted to use but every other color I used I took out. So this blue it was I returned back to. I haven't made up my mind where it's going yet. I was going to keep it on the floor but Marc likes me to hang them :)
It's all ready now and I am so glad to be able to move on now to another antique reprodution. I have no more Unfinished Projects...feels good!!!!!!!!

I LOVE that rug and your rendition came out great! It's on my wish list of rugs I'd like to hook.
I, too, have a problem capturing the true colors of my rugs.
I look forward to seeing more of your projects. You always make such great items.
Pug hugs :)

Your rug turned out just beautiful. Someday I will try this again. I did years ago but don't have any of the equipment to do it. Nor the time as far as that goes.
You know, I'd love to see it hanging - I think they are pieces of 'art'

Kim, your horse hooked rug turned out beautifully, and the blue is a perfect compliment to the other colors. When hooked rugs were first worked, I'm sure the colors were very vibrant. Over time, people using them on the floor gave them the "patina" I think you maybe were striving for. Hard to duplicate unless you want to rub some coffee grinds into it! LOL! How lucky you are to create such a beautiful piece of art!
